The retreat is open to individuals with reasonable health. However, it’s essential to note that the practices involving breathing techniques and cold exposure, while potentially beneficial when done correctly, may not be suitable for those with certain health conditions. If you have any serious medical or psychological concerns, it’s advisable to seek guidance from a healthcare professional before participating in any activities offered at the retreat.
The walk is roughly 6 miles including summiting a mountain so you will need a reasonable level of fitness. We go at the pace of the least able person, no one is left behind.
We can cater for vegan and gluten free. We provide super healthy predominantly plant based food.
The only physical requirement for the retreat is that you are able-bodied; you do not need special skills or experience in any specific fields, such as climbing or mountaineering. However, it can help if you get a little familiar with the breathing and cold training.

Core and Sustainable Change is my Mission.
As the retreat host, my goal is to ensure that you, as an attendee, are equipped with all the skills and knowledge necessary to understand yourself and develop the right actions and behaviours. This will enable you to create a ripple effect of positive impact in your own life and the lives of those around you.
Following the retreat, you will have full access, see the week-by-week course details below.
Our focus centres on listening to the body and providing the nervous system with what it needs. My mission is to empower you to master correct breathing techniques, utilising breath as a tool to navigate every facet of life. Before initiating any positive change, it is crucial to comprehend how to assess one’s current state through interoceptive awareness.
Developing and refining a personal mission statement: Let’s embark on crafting our mission statement, a concise declaration that defines our purpose, values, and goals
The Operating System:
We look at the human body and brain as an operating system programmed by our experiences, the people we surround ourselves with, our parents, education, and all that we consume. Once the operating system processes these experiences, there’s an output: our actions, behaviours, habits, and everything that manifests in our lives. How do we reprogram this system?
Influencing the Nervous System:
Let’s take a deep and interactive dive into the breath from a nervous system perspective. Each state of the body and mind has a breathing pattern; the exciting thing is we can breathe for that state. We will take a non-binary view of the nervous system and relate it to your own life using an exercise I learned from ‘Kasper van der Meulen’ called mapping out the nervous system. These incredible tools and knowledge enable you to regain complete control.
Deep rest and sleep:
Sleep and rest are essential for neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to adapt and change. During sleep, the brain consolidates memories and forms new connections. Rest allows the brain to recharge and maintain cognitive function. Both contribute to optimal neuroplasticity, promoting learning, memory, and overall brain health.
We will explore the art and science of effective recovery and enhancing sleep quality. You’ll discover techniques to enter the alpha brain state, fostering calmness, creativity, and receptivity, bridging the gap between the conscious and subconscious mind.
Expectation, Commitment and Sustainable Change:
Learn how to get out of your own way and plant the seeds for a life that resonates with your soul. Your entire existence is the result of your thoughts, beliefs and habits. Let’s look at the science.
