Bristol Retreat

Breath & Beyond is a two day non residential retreat in Bristol.

It’s the best parts of a retreat, the breathwork, the nervous system work, the movement, the cold, the sound, the space to actually reset, but without the big retreat price tag.

You come for the full retreat days, and then you go home, or back to your hotel or Airbnb in the evenings.

You sort your own accommodation and meals, which keeps it more affordable and gives you more freedom.

And the actual experience is still very much a retreat.

Two days of getting out of your head, back into your body, and spending time around people who want the same thing.

JACK WITTS

Breathwork and Nervous System Specialist – Wim Hof Method Instructor

For over a decade, I’ve been exploring how we can use the breath, body, and mind to create real, lasting change. My work has evolved beyond any single method. I now bring together a full spectrum approach to breathwork and nervous system education that helps people feel more grounded, focused, and alive.

My path into this work wasn’t a straight line. In my early twenties, I was carrying the weight of an extremely difficult upbringing, living with  Complex PTSD, addictions, anxiety and depression, and heading down a path that wasn’t serving me. Learning how to work with my breath and body changed everything. It showed me that change doesn’t come from escape but from learning to meet yourself fully, even in the hard moments.

Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to understanding how humans adapt, heal, and grow through challenge. I now share that understanding through workshops, retreats, and one to one coaching, helping people shift out of survival mode and reconnect to their natural capacity for strength, clarity, and connection.

Travel and Accommodation

This is a non residential retreat, which means you’ll join us for the full retreat days, and then you’re free to head home or back to wherever you’re staying in the evenings.

You arrange your own accommodation, travel, and meals. It keeps the cost down, and it gives you more freedom.

If you’re local, you can sleep in your own bed and still get the full retreat experience.

If you’re travelling in, Bristol is easy.

Location

28 Luckwell Rd, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 3EW

Getting Here

By train

The main station is Bristol Temple Meads.

You can also travel into Bedminster Station, which is closer to the venue, but it has fewer direct routes depending on where you’re coming from.

From either station, it’s a short taxi or bus to the venue.

By car

Bristol is well connected via the M4 and M5.

Parking in Bedminster is usually easier than the city centre, but it can still vary depending on the street, so I’d recommend arriving with a little bit of extra time.

By coach

National Express and Megabus run regular routes into Bristol.

Most coaches arrive into Bristol city centre, and from there it’s a short taxi or bus to Bedminster.

By plane

Bristol Airport is around 20 to 30 minutes away by taxi, depending on traffic.

Where to Stay

You can stay wherever suits your budget and your vibe. Hotel, Airbnb, guesthouse, or somewhere simple.

If you want to keep things easy, I’d recommend staying in:

  • Bedminster
  • Southville
  • Ashton
  • City Centre / Harbourside

Clifton is beautiful, but it’s further away and usually more expensive, so I’d only stay there if you’re turning it into a full Bristol weekend.

Food

Lunch is not provided.

We’ll have a one hour lunch break each day, and there are plenty of places nearby to grab food.

You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch if you’d rather keep it simple.
