Travel and Accommodation
This is a non residential retreat, which means you’ll join us for the full retreat days, and then you’re free to head home or back to wherever you’re staying in the evenings.
You arrange your own accommodation, travel, and meals. It keeps the cost down, and it gives you more freedom.
If you’re local, you can sleep in your own bed and still get the full retreat experience.
If you’re travelling in, Bristol is easy.
Location
28 Luckwell Rd, Bedminster, Bristol BS3 3EW
Getting Here
By train
The main station is Bristol Temple Meads.
You can also travel into Bedminster Station, which is closer to the venue, but it has fewer direct routes depending on where you’re coming from.
From either station, it’s a short taxi or bus to the venue.
By car
Bristol is well connected via the M4 and M5.
Parking in Bedminster is usually easier than the city centre, but it can still vary depending on the street, so I’d recommend arriving with a little bit of extra time.
By coach
National Express and Megabus run regular routes into Bristol.
Most coaches arrive into Bristol city centre, and from there it’s a short taxi or bus to Bedminster.
By plane
Bristol Airport is around 20 to 30 minutes away by taxi, depending on traffic.
Where to Stay
You can stay wherever suits your budget and your vibe. Hotel, Airbnb, guesthouse, or somewhere simple.
If you want to keep things easy, I’d recommend staying in:
- Bedminster
- Southville
- Ashton
- City Centre / Harbourside
Clifton is beautiful, but it’s further away and usually more expensive, so I’d only stay there if you’re turning it into a full Bristol weekend.
Food
Lunch is not provided.
We’ll have a one hour lunch break each day, and there are plenty of places nearby to grab food.
You’re also welcome to bring your own lunch if you’d rather keep it simple.
